Admissions / TC

The School is affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education (Affiliation no. 2730037 and School Code: 25198)  under the 10+2 scheme of education. It prepares its students for the Secondary School Certificate and Senior School Certificate.

Registration and Admission

Registration commences as per dates given by the Department of Education. Admission is open to all classes subject to the availability of seats. The school reserves the right to admit the pupil to the class to which he/she is found deserving.

The fee paid at the time of admission is non-refundable.

Admission Criteria

Admission will generally depend upon the number of vacancies in a class and in case of no vacancy in the particular class, registration may be refused.

Pupils seeking admission to any standard shall be tested for placement in the school and the Principal’s decision shall be final.

Admission tests and interviews are generally held between January 1st to February 28th. Registration opens from 1st December to 31st December and 1st June to 31st June for XI standard. Decision regarding new admission is generally conveyed to parents within a week.

  • The minimum age for admission in class one should be five years by 31st March 2022.
    (Ref DOE Circular No F/DE/15/1031/ACT/2007/7002 dated 24/11/2007.
  • The upper age limit for admission in class I shall be less than 06 years as on 31st March 2022.
  • School timings will be from 8:30 am to 12:30pm for Class I
  • Incomplete forms will be rejected.
  • Admission will be confirmed subject to verification of required information/ documents.

Fees Schedule

Late Fee fine

A fine of Rs. 50/- will be charged after the 20th of the first month, Rs.100 after the 20th of 2nd month and Rs. 200 after the 20th of 3rd month. If the dues are not cleared by that date, the name of the student will be struck off the rolls of the school. Re-admission will be only at the direction of the Principal on payment of all the arrears & fresh admission fee.

Parents have the option to deposit fees for the entire year in advance if they find it more convenient.

How to pay Fees?

Parents are requested to pay the fees monthly via school portal.

Parents can also pay the Fees by DD/ Cheque in favor of Green Fields School having the name of the student, Class/Sec, Admission No, Phone No. at the back of the DD/Cheque.

Dishonoured Cheques

In such cases a penalty of Rs. 250/- will be charged over and above the amount of fee along with late fee if due and the payment will be accepted only by payorder/Demand Draft.

School Uniform (Class I to XII)

Summers
  1. White half sleeves shirt with school monogram and bottle green shorts/ trousers for boys.
  2. Fawn salwar kameez (knee length kameez) with green check jacket for girls in VI-XII
  3. White halfsleeves shirt with school monogram and green skirt/tunic for girls I-V.
  4. Green socks with yellow bands and school belt.
  5. Green bands for hair and black shoes with laces as prescribed by the school.
Winters
  1. Winter school shirt (full sleeves) with school monogram and grey woolen trousers for boys.
  2. White shirt (full sleeves) with school monogram and grey skirt /tunic (knee length I-V)/fawn salwaar kameez (knee length kameez) for senior girls.
  3. Green and yellow V-neck sweater and blazer or jacket (school pattern), tie,grey stockings, black shoes (gola) and belt as prescribed by the school.
  4. No low waist pants are allowed for school uniform and only green colour caps, muffler, gloves are allowed in winter.

School blazer/Jacket is mandatory for all children in winter.

Points to remember:

  • Students should be properly dressed. Entry into school without uniform is not allowed even after school hours and on holidays.
  • Non-Sikh boys should get their hair cut at regular intervals. Sikh boys must wear turbans from Class VIII onwards. Boys are not permitted to wear ear studs. Tight fitting or drain pipe trousers are not allowed. Trousers must be according to the school pattern.
  • Girls should plait/tie their hair if it is more than shoulder length. Short hair should be neatly cut and pinned. Green hair bands are to be used. No fringe cut for girls.
  • The school forbids the use of jewellery (no chains, rings,bangles, bracelets). Girls may wear one pair of small earrings or studs only.
