Nothing beats an exciting hand-on experience to deepen learning. The magic of a field trip isn’t just the subject. It’s the break in routine and adventure that opens up children’s minds to new things.

Students of class IV visited National Science Centre ,  Pragati Maidan on 06 February 2019.  They boarded their respective buses  with great enthusiasm. They sang merrily on the way and reached their destination in half an hour.  Students were enthralled as they witnessed a huge exhibit spanning four floors which is one of the largest exhibits in the world. The first floor gallery unfolded with a plethora of exhibits that covers various issues related to water and is titled as “Water- The Elixir of Life” . It created awareness amongst the children about the scarcity of water and its conservation. Students enjoyed the gallery on the first floor which portrayed the march of Information Revolution from cave paintings to the internet. The  next gallery to be visited was Fun Science and it lived up to its name. Students enjoyed hands-on exhibits which explained fundamentals of science. The most favourite of exhibits was “the mirror maze” which took them all by surprise.  Galleries on second and third floors showcased Human Biology and Our science and Technical Heritage. After spending constructive two and a half hours of learning with fun , it was time to head towards Lodhi Gardens. Students had their lunch, played games and danced merrily on their favorite dance numbers . It was a day full of fun ‘n’ frolic which will be cherished down the memory lane.1 2a 7 20 22 26
