ENGLISH SUBJECT ENRICHMENT ACTIVITY – CLASS III
A subject enrichment activity was conducted on 30 Sept 2019 for Class III, where the students wrote acrostic and diamante poems.
An acrostic is a poem where certain letters in each line spell out a word or phrase. Typically, the first letter of each line are used to spell the message, but they can appear anywhere.
A diamante poem makes the shape of a diamond. This poem can be used in two ways. Either comparing and contrasting two different subjects or naming synonyms at the beginning of the poems and then antonyms for the second half for any subject.
